New Server and Administration
Zach
3/20/08

Jonny no longer does the server, nor does he make the forum software.
Network467 is the new development team of our forum software.
Callum Haywood is also the new owner of our server, and out new address is nottingham.callumhaywood.com/~zach.

So Jonny is no longer staff.

All other staff is unchanged except for Callum being admin.

Also, Zach's Place is awaiting a redesign. Zach's Place 2.0 will be upeventually. Just wait..

Also note that the site is 90% satirical. Most of the rants are just jokes, such as the "Nerds Suck" rant.
Though my countryboy pride shows, and I'm defenitly not a nerd IRL, that rant is mostly a joke.

The Zach's Place Staff  and Their Roles
Zach
1/7/08

I got bored and decided to write this. Anyway, here's who does what with the staff.

Zach-Admin of Zach's Place. I write rants and update the main page. I also admin
the forums. I founded this site when I was bored and opened up Mozilla Seamonkey
on my red painted iBook.

Michelle- Admin of Zach's Place. She's the admin of both the forums and the main site,
however, she usually don't make articles or rants do to the fact that she's not a very big
user of Seamonkey. However, she's a great admin due to her sense of humor and just plain
coolness. She's here because she's a cute girl who doesn't take crap from anybody, even her
little brothers. My advice is not to crap with her, or else you'll be royally owned.

Jonny- Creator of the EasyCB Forum software solution. He also hosts our site on his super
fast server and bandwith. He's one of the best PHP coders in Britain, and I'm proud to
say he's a VIP on Zach's place.

Mark- VIP. He's VIP because I've known him for a *long* time after meeting him on
the now defunct ABWNet. He was my only supporter on the entire forum.

When Old-Computer was started, I was one of the first members. That's why I was made
admin half-way through it's lifespan. I also created it's slogan, "We will NOT die".
He and Callum Haywood are also working on a website known as "teen4m".
Please visit it and check it out, it's a great project.

Forums are Up
Zach
1/1/08

Happy new year everyone! The forums are now up, thanks to Jonny.
He's been a great help, so every time you load up my page,  thank him and his extreme computer
and networking genius.

Michelle, the second you register, I'll make you admin. I sent you an email explaining the site,
and how to deal with the many butt licking morons who don't like me.

Co-admins
Zach
11/28/07

Since I'm not on the internet a lot, due to the fact that using Joey's phone as a modem is
as slow as crap, I'm making someone a co-admin. They will be able to enforce the
forums when I'm not here.

Now, don't come to me asking to be co-admin.

Only my IRL friends can be co-admins. That also means that if you get a phone call
from me, I'll probably ask you to be co-admin.

Okay?

The Mustang's jacked up
Zach
11/14/07
Yep. I finally got the Mustang jacked up.

Now, I have to put some new wheels on it so I can move it out of the way.

Then I can put the new floorboard in it.
Wait.. Why do I need a new floorboard? Well.. considering the old one is rusted
completely out in some places, and that I have another '86 Mustang(with no front end) just
sitting there, it'd make a good idea.

Once that's in, I can put the new seats in there, and then I can start the exterior body work.
All it'll need is to be sanded, and then to be repainted. I'll also have to work on that small
dent(*ouch*) in the door. How that happened, I have no idea whatsoever.

The engine is a whole different story. I'll probably pull the good engine from another Mustang
that's in my yard, that ran last time I looked. I'll rebuild it anyway..

I also plan on installing a 6-speed manual transmission in it once I've got it running.

I should put a Mustang logo on the bottom of the page or something like that, but I'm too lazy
to look for one. Oh well.

Back in Black
Zach
11/9/07
As in the words of the great AC/DC, I'm back in black.

So.. Happyfaggot finally managed to take OC from me, huh?
Thanks.
Now I can start over. No more "old computers", no more fights with Tim, and no
more fighting to get members. On this forum, I don't give a crap whether you join
or not. I'm here, writing rants, and my IRL friends are here to help. I don't care if you don't
like this new attitude or not, I'm not the same ZSS9393939393 kid I once was.

I'm older, more mature, and stronger than ever.

And that means that you can shut up, Chris and Happyfag. Becuase I'll take down
your Old-Computer now. The only difference is, you took my down fairly.
I'm not as nice of a person as I once was.

Oh, Happyfag's hosting OC now? On 1.5Mbs Telstra?

Wow, to think that my uncle Fred's connection is twice as fast as that, and when you add
it up, my friends and I can stop your internet entirely. Heck, I can hack you easily.

Then when your download limit is maxed out, I'll wonder why..

Anyway, I'm getting hosting for this site anyway, and I'll see about adding an MP3 jukebox.
This will pwn you.
-Zach

Yep. Zach 9/6/07
So, yeah, I set up a web page. It's based off of pure HTML, but I'll be running PHP later.
This'll probably be gone in a couple of days anyway, I'll probably base it off of Wordpress
or something.Whatever. BTW, the forums will be based off of Jonny's software.
I recommend you base your forums off the same. And no, it won't be on a Linux server.
It'll probably be on FreeBSD, or maybe Windows 2000. As you know, I hate Linux,
so I won't support it anymore than it already is. Ubuntu is the only decent Linux distro,
and that's not saying much. It's only good for lulz.(+1 if you know what "lulz" means)
And I'll probably make Allison a website. She deserves one. Doggone, I might even set Katie
up a site. We'll probably all share a forum, lol. Honestly, I might buy a VPS from Jonny or
Lesh. But I'd rather have it running Windows or BSD. And no, I won't host this on the VPS.
This'll be on a home server, along with the rest of my stuff. I'll probably be the person
hosting the phlog for OC anyway. Oh well. As long as I'm on a FreeBSD server,
I'm good. FreeBSD>Linux. K? K. And I'm not talking about KDE, either.
So far, it sucks just as bad as the rest of Linux. KDE 4 doesn't look as good as it's hyped
up to be, and, quite frankly, I'm not going to use it. XFCE>GNOME>*.

BTW, OC will be back soon. I'm thinking about buying web hosting from someone.
I will host it on the VPS. This'll be hosted on a home server, though, powered by
Free-freakin'-BSD, baby. Hopefully I can find aVPS with FreeBSD on it.
One that's not ran by a kiddie. "`Cuz we all know how many of them are out there."

Also, I plan to get a Quote Database. Then I'll do a Quote of the Day script on the
regular pages. Massive lulz insures, bub.

Oh yeah: Allison, you're admin if you join the forum I'm setting up. Okay, girl?

Okay.
-Zach

Made on a Mac. Don't hate it because it's beuatiful. IBM: Simply the best laptopsGet a Free co.nr Domain name!!OMGOMGOMG!!11!
This page is here because.. I got bored and broke out Mozilla Seamonkey.
Just don't nag, bub, that's your granny's job.
